SUMMARY:The Conservators - Restoration of the Henry Strachey murals
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce that the first phase of the restoration works to the Henry Strachey murals has started.\nThe Henry Strachey murals are currently being cleaned and conserved by art conservators Lisa Shekede and Stephen Rickerby.\n\nLisa and Stephen are international wall painting Conservators.\n\nPast and current projects include Byzantine churches in Cyprus\, ancient tombs in Egypt\, Buddhist caves and temples in China and Bhutan\, Orthodox churches in Georgia and rock-cut churches in Ethiopia.\nThey also work on a wide variety of wall paintings and decorative schemes in the UK\, from the medieval to the modern period.\n\nWe now have the exciting opportunity to view the conservation work with the following free event at Stowey Church:\n\n        THE CONSERVATORS – Open Morning on Tuesday 26th August 10:30-11:30am \n\nBOOKING IS ESSENTIAL:   activities.stoweyrevived@outlook.com
